Who is involved?
Teign Housing is a social landlord managing 3,700 homes in Teignbridge. They chair the GDPR South West Group meetings for housing associations in the south west and manage the SWIS website.

DevonSovereign is a housing association with 58,000 homes covering a large area in Southern England. They attend the GDPR South West Group meetings and chair the GDPR South East Group meetings for housing associations.

Southern EnglandPlymouth Community Homes is the largest social housing landlord in Plymouth with over 16,000 properties. They researched multi-agency sharing of personal and sensitive data and assist with the administration of SWIS.

How long has SWIS been operating?
SWIS came about when several housing associations across South West England formed the GDPR South West group in 2017 in preparation of the GDPR which came into force on May 25th 2018. SWIS was then created in 2019 to facilitate multi-agency sharing of personal and sensitive data.
